Trojan: H1N1 Government Profile

As stated earlier, Phishers, Hackers, watch the headlines, and prey on the "popular" events taken place, and use that to scare people into infecting their own systems or giving up their own information at will.

This one comes in while America is on the edge of its seat with the hype in the media about the "H1N1 (Swine Flu)" scare.

First you get the email stating the Government wants anyone over the age of 18 to create a (lol) "H1N1 Profile" that they can track you with regardless if you get the shot or not:

Then following the link from the email, I was taken to the bogus CDC page and presented to download my executable file (.exe) that will create my "H1N1 Profile":

As a result, this file (vacc_profile.exe) is a small Trojan (128k), when executed, turns your PC over to the Hacker on the other end who created this whole bogus thing.

If you have any concerns or want to verify, head over to the offical site (http://www.cdc.gov) for the Centers for Disease Control And Prevention.

And as always... just mark this as junk and delete it.
